Even though I have a free gym membership (compliments of the Company I work for) , I am more-often-than-not NOT interested in trekking to the gym and find myself perfectly happy working out at home. 

We do have an elliptical – which gets tons of use. Check out my favorite elliptical workouts here.

But I almost always add a workout DVD, whether it is for an extra cardio push or some strength training.

I love the Jillian Michaels DVDs No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism.

Also in my regular rotation and my current favorites are the Peak 10 Series from Michelle Dozois – Peak 10 Cardio Interval Burn and Peak 10 Cardio Strength – these are some real ass kickers!

I also have a deep fondess for Shaun T and his INSANITY workouts.

Jackie Warner is a nice trade off if I want a lower impact day – this workout isn’t cake by any means, but is not as difficult as some of the others.

Jari Love is perfect for days when I really want to strength train. She has you doing a ridiculous number of reps, and I promise you will feel it the next day. I have 2 of her DVDs but this is my go to.

Last but certainly not least is Mr. Bob Harper’s DVDs – I own all 4 in the Inside Out Method series.
